We are the first Blockchain ticketing platform. Ethical – Secure – Independent. Citizen Ticket is a tech start up (established in 2013) working in the event ticketing market. We have adapted Blockchain technology to the ticketing industry to try to eradicate the problems with ticket touts and secondary sellers. We have been trading on a small scale (mainly in Scotland and London) since early 2015. We have just secured seed investment to grow the business to the next level.
THE JOB
Citizen Ticket has an open position for a web developer to join the team.
The successful candidate will be self-motivating, have ability to work in a small team and have great communication skills. You must be polite, well-mannered and presentable. You should be interested in following current web design trends and not be afraid of diving deep into unknown development territory.
You should have have proven experience in:
- Building or working on a medium to large sized PHP web application
- Management of an SQL database of medium to large size
- An understanding of responsive design in HTML5 and CSS3
- Developing node.js servers
- Git repositories
The ideal candidate would also:
- Have experience in developing in a front-end javascript framework, preferably angular.js
- Have experience in developing ionic mobile applications
- Have a keen interest and understanding of the blockchain
- Have a degree in Computer Science
- Have experience or interest in the events or ticketing industry within the UK.
Ideally the candidate should be able to commute to our offices in London or Edinburgh daily, but we would also accept a great candidate who would work remotely from their own device and commute into the capitol on a weekly basis.
Working with Citizen Ticket, you must have a strong desire to build something and to work in an innovative, dynamic company with a goal to make an ethical change.
PAY
The successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary of £30-40k dependent on experience.
