A exciting opportunity to spend an evening with a modern day Aviatrix! Tracy is a treat for anybody with an adventurous streak to listen too.
Tracy Curtis Taylor is a British aviator and inspirational speaker who is known for her epic flights, most notably Cape Town to Goodwood, in her beautiful Boeing Stearman Bi plane. Tracy has always had a keen sense of adventure and aims to inspire young girls and other women as she flies to all four corners of the globe.
Tracy grew up in Canada surrounded by beautiful countryside and therefore, it was no surprise to her parents when she completed her first flying lesson aged 16.
After returning to the UK with her parents in the 70's and, holding a position at the foreign office, Tracy gave in to a call from the wild and moved to South Africa for several months before returning in a Bedford truck.
Tracy then migrated to New Zealand where she gained her PPL, CPL and Instructors rating whilst being trained in World War II warplanes by military pilots. She then began another career in aerial photography and mapping combining her love of aviation and Geography.
Tracy is perhaps best known for her love of pioneering transport, including the love of old cars and aeroplanes. Her love has taken her on many adventures in her Boeing Stearman Biplane including her flight from the UK to Australia in 2015 and across the USA in 2016 to mark 100 years of the Boeing company.
