Creating great portrait photography is all about building a relationship with your subject, working with light, understanding your camera and composing a good looking photo.
By joining this workshop you will learn techniques to do all of these things, and more.
During the Workshop you will learn:
Camera settings plus lens and equipment choices
Basic Rules of Portraiture
How to capture personality and character to get a natural portrait
Making the most of natural light including light of different quality and direction
Working with flash and reflectors to enhance natural light
How to use soft box and strobe lights
Understanding the importance of the background
Adding character and interest to portrait images
How to use creatively simple tools
Tripod (if you have one)
Flash (if you have one)
If you do not have all the required equipment, I will make available my gear to you, so you can practice.

We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided.
We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will provide a full refund which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement.
There is always an element of risk in any indoor activity including, but not limited to, bodily injury, death, illness, loss or damage to personal property. By joining the workshop participants acknowledge that they are aware of these risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release the photographer from any liability. We will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.
