Post Punk Pop Night - A guitar-driven, lyric-laden adventure to the musical stratosphere with a set of bands picked for their euphoric, melodic appeal.
Bringing together a strong female-driven line up, this night brings good vibes through great songs, telling stories and infectious hooks. From irreverent and raucous locals Bikini Body and Swim School, plus Glasgow's Mitchell Museum and Cloth, be swept along in a non-stop night of song after quality song, as the music alternates between the two music stages; building through uplifting sets by The Goon Sax and rising star Katy J Pearson until The Orielles whip us up into a post-disco-punk frenzy to take us on a journey through the interstellar pop cosmos.

The above line-up is just part of the multi-arts festival which showcases a diverse programme of music, visual art, theatre, dance and spoken word, alongside a series of creative collaborative projects. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon!
We have also now revealed plans to transform a nearby disused warehouse into a vast exhibition and performance space as part of the festival. The additional venue will effectively double the footprint of the festival, allowing us to exhibit the work of recent art graduates whose degree shows were cancelled due to COVID-19.
Hidden Door is a volunteer-run charity arts organisation that opens up forgotten urban spaces for audiences to explore and discover incredible music, art, theatre, film, dance, spoken word and more.
We return this summer for an outdoor festival taking place 15 – 19 September 2021 at the epic Granton Gasworks site in north Edinburgh, set in the shadow of the iconic gas holder.
Over the five days, Hidden Door will stage a series of specially commissioned collaborations with Scottish musicians and artists, creating visually stunning multimedia shows and immersive experiences.
Organisers have spent the past year exploring potential sites for staging a safe, physically distanced outdoor event packed full of Hidden Door excitement, and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got planned down at Granton.
Book your ticket with full confidence!
Our festival plans are being made in line with Scottish Government guidance and the event will be run in accordance with all relevant restrictions and safety measures.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the festival, you will be able to access a full refund or transfer your ticket to a future event.
