Come and relax in our lively outdoor area which offers a variety of street food menu's, local craft beers, and custom-made cocktails from our in-house distillery Old Poison to sample.
The Biscuit Factory was built in 1947 by Crawfords Biscuits and the warehouse which was home to them for 20 years still sits proudly between Anderson Place and Bonnington Road Lane, along with our sister building the Soap Works - an ex soap and chemical factory from the early 1900’s. It is now home to 32 creative businesses who together make a significant contribution to the culture in Leith. Keeping most of the original fixtures and fittings, The Biscuit Factory is a unique experience to visit, with a historical background, and colourful future.
Join us in our outdoor courtyard style area, and soak up the sun, history, and good vibes.
The Biscuit Factory Family
We try to keep our suppliers inhouse or local wherever possible, and have teamed up with three of our resident caterers (Caravan of Courage, PorkEDIN and Lovely Paella) and bakers (The Bearded Baker and Mrs Macs Bakery) to bring you the best in street food and sweet treats, all made under one roof.
All this accompanied by coffee brewed in-house by Santu Coffee.
We have developed a unique cocktail menu alongside our in-house gin distillery Old Poison (Selkie gin). Owner Fabrizio is passionate about his products and will give you a background on every drink you receive.
You can even book a tour of where these products are produced.
Many of our other resident businesses are back open for trading, so why not come and visit them, then sit outside for a drink or snack and help support their mothership!
