Information

Artificial Intelligence has become a part of everyday life. Most of us interact with AI on a daily basis without giving it a second thought. Whether using Siri or Google Assistant, Netflix or Amazon Alexa, AI has become a component of many products and services we use regularly. But where is it really impacting us and what does the future hold?

The objective of this event is to to give some insight into where AI has come from, how it impacts us today and the near term future of AI as it relates to everyday life, to government and to healthcare. This event brings together a panel of local experts from NI companies and universities who are using AI as part of their business in a range or areas.

The panel consists of Dr Austin Tanney - Head of AI at Kainos, Founder and organiser of the AINI group and facilitator of the Northern Ireland AI collaborative network. Dr Tim Davison - CTO of BrainwaveBank Dr Jaine Blayney - Bioinfromatician at the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology Daniel Crawford - CEO and founder of Axial3D.
